Thursday Morning Sunrise

Inside a Baby Grand

One Week to Christmas

Red Sky this morning

I actually did quite a bit of work in Photoshop to make this look better than it actually is. Bumped up the saturation to deepen the colors ... burned in a bluer sky and added some soft-focus effects to it.

Saturday Sky

Here's another shot from the weekend ... really neat cloud pattern on Saturday afternoon.

Christmas Light Abstract

I turned my camera's ISO down to 80 and shot this from a moving car to get the blur effect. That's the great thing about digital, it gives you the opportunity to experiment a little bit and do something different with, say a Christmas light display.

Colorful sunrise

Lots of different colors out this morning ... some pink in the clouds, with a lot of blues and a hint of yellow where the sun was peeking through.

Happy Thanksgiving

Kids in a box

We got our son a new set of bedroom stuff, and the toy box is this mock toolbox type thing. Of course, our daughter thought it was the perfect size for she and her brother to play in instead of using it to store toys.

Reflections at dusk

This photo was really a complete accident. I sat the camera on top of my car and did a 3 second exposure. There's nothing spectacular about the view ... it's my back yard and the homes around me ... but the reflection off the top of the car makes it look like water, and the shadows hide all the "ordinary" detail. It was kind of a nice surprise.

Shadows & Texture

Thought this looked interesting before I left work the other evening. The setting sun was shining through the blinds in my office onto this cabinet with a key sticking out of the keyhole.

Rocks & Water

I wanted to try and start posting more, but coming up with something everyday is tougher than it sounds. Here's something I shot this morning.

Morning commute

Red tree, blue sky

Some random shots

I had some down today, so I got to walk around and see some interesting sites at some of our buildings at work.

Trio of Angels

Christmas comes pretty early in the marketing department. These are from ornaments on one of the trees we do.
